**Responsibilities** **Night Full Time NeuroICU Registered Nurse** **$15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Employee Referral Eligible position.** The Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit is a fast high paced 20-bed Comprehensive Stroke unit. We specialize in the treatment and management of several neurological conditions. Our nursing staff performs comprehensive neuro assessments and interventions and is dedicated to providing superior care to all patients we are fortunate enough to care for. We have a dedicated Neuro Critical Care Nurse 24 hours a day that responds to all stroke alerts and helps to receive outside transfers. Position Summary: The incumbent provides coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team providing leadership personal/professional development and conducting him/herself professionally. Per policy, current employees are not eligible.** **Employee Referral Eligible position.** **Minimum:** + 1 year RN experience in an ICU acute care setting + Current California RN License + Current ACLS and BLS certifications from American Heart Association **Preferred:** + 1 year experience in Neuro and/or Trauma critical care in an acute care setting **Overview** Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California.
