What's the Job?
- Lead the migration of the platform from AWS to Google Cloud Platform, focusing on GKE-based Evergreen platform.
- Refactor existing AWS Terraform configurations into Google Cloud Platform-native modules to ensure seamless infrastructure transition.
- Develop and implement GitHub Actions pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and application deployment automation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DRE, Application, Security, and FinOps to align on security, cost management, and reliability standards.
- Create reusable, well-documented Terraform and Helm modules to support ongoing and future migrations.
What's Needed?
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, especially Terraform.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly GitHub Actions, and OIDC integration.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform), GKE, Helm, and Argo CD.
- Strong understanding of security practices, IAM, secrets management, and observability tools like OpenTelemetry and New Relic.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
