Job Description

Client is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join a dynamic boutique investment bank. This is a full-time, in-office position where you will work closely with senior bankers, clients, and deal teams. As an Associate, you will be involved in every aspect of M&A and capital raising transactions, including financial analysis, due diligence, client communications, and presentations.

 
Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and the creation of teasers, information memorandums, and management presentations.
• Develop investor/acquirer contact lists and help create pitch materials.
• Assist in client-facing interactions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, timely work.
• Analyze financial statements and perform company valuations (including financial models and comparable company analysis).
• Contribute to the recruitment of additional team members as the firm expands.

• MBA with at least one year of post-MBA investment banking experience
• Minimum of 2 years of pre-MBA investment banking experience.
• Strong academic background in business, finance, accounting, or economics.
• Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in financial modeling, financial statement analysis, and company valuation techniques.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
