Health Information Management Technician (Medical Records Clerk) Location: On-site Shifts Available: + 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM CST + 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST Breaks: + 30-minute lunch + Two 15-minute breaks daily + Overtime: May be available based on workflow About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Management Technician to join our team. In this role, you will support the accurate and efficient handling of medical records and related documentation. Your responsibilities will include: + Preparing, scanning, and indexing documents + Retrieving and reconciling accounts + Answering phones and providing general support + Performing clerical and technical duties related to health information management + Ensuring quality review and proper sequencing of paper documents Key Skills & Experience + Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems + Knowledge of health information management processes + Strong data entry skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite + Experience with document indexing and scanning What We're Looking For + Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive information + Ability to organize documents in proper sequence + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure + Entry-level candidates welcome - training provided! Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
