Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a **Direct Support Professional** to work at a facility in **Bennington , VT.** These are _registry_ positions with our company. **Pay Rate:** $29.25 / hour *W2 **Shifts Available:** + Class: DSP - Driving Shift: 2 Start: 15:00:00 End: 23:00:00 **Qualifications:** + **Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Direct Support Professional** + Ability to build rapport with patients + Compassionate and caring demeanor + Familiarity with medical terminology + CPR card issued by the American Heart Association + Must have up to date certification in the state of **VT** **Responsibilities:** + Assisting clients with daily living activities (eating, bathing, dressing, hygiene) + Supporting clients with mobility and transportation + Helping with household tasks (cleaning, cooking, laundry) + Monitoring and documenting client's progress and health + Administering medications (if trained and permitted) + Encouraging independence and life skills development + Providing companionship and emotional support + Supporting clients in community activities and social interactions + Ensuring safety and well-being at all times + Communicating with families and healthcare providers as needed If interested, please apply through this job post.
