What would you do as a Customer Service - Returns Specialist

As a Full-Time Customer Service - Returns Specialist at QC Supply, you'll take the lead in assisting customers through phone and email communications. Your primary responsibilities will include placing orders, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints-all while delivering excellent service that reflects our commitment to customer partnerships. Each interaction is an opportunity to make a positive impact, ensuring customers feel valued and understood.

Attention to detail will ensure accurate information is provided, especially when addressing complaints and tracking inventory transactions.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately place orders for customers
• Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all time
• Responding promptly to customer inquiries
• Communication with customer through various channels, phone, email and chat platforms
• Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints
• Processing customer orders
• Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary
• Communicating with vendors
• Providing accurate, valid and complete information by using the correct method and tools
• Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support
• Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
• Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale
• Complete required documentation for warranty processes
• Complete required documentation for return merchandise
• Track inventory transactions made through the returns process

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Ability to read and understand basic English

• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively

• Strong organizational skills
• Computer skill – proficient in using Outlook, Word, Excel
