**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** **Description:** MercyOne is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join our collaborative team of 12 anesthesiologists and 2 CRNAs. This position offers full autonomy in managing your own cases and provides anesthesia services at both Waterloo Medical Center and Cedar Falls Medical Center. **Position Highlights** + Manage all your own cases - no supervision model + No open heart cases + Financial incentives for overtime and post-call work + Collegial, team-based environment + Wide variety of surgical specialties: + General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Ophthalmology + OB, Bariatrics, Vascular, Interventional Radiology + Neurosurgery (Cranial & Spine), EP Lab **Compensation & Benefits** + **Guaranteed salary: $600,000** _Earning potential up to $680,000_ + **$150,000 in bonuses** + **9 weeks of vacation annually** + **$15,000 relocation allowance** + Employer-paid malpractice insurance including tail coverage + Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance with shared premiums + Two retirement plans: + 403(b) with employer match + 457(b) deferred compensation plan + Employer-paid short-term disability _Optional long-term disability available at minimal cost_ + **$5,000 annual CME/licensure/dues allowance** + Non-profit organization eligible for **Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)** **Visa Sponsorship** + H-1B cap-exempt organization + J-1 visa candidates accepted **Qualifications** + MD or DO degree + Board Certified or Board Eligible (must achieve BC within 3 years of eligibility) + Ability to obtain Iowa medical license + EOE / Drug screen required **Contact Information** **Lori S.
