Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Cross-functional team collaboration to design, define and ship new features
• Translate requirements, designs and wireframes into high quality code 
• Design, build, test and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code 
• Motivate, mentor and help fellow developers

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Required skill:

• 5+ years of experience in developing complex, large-scale Android applications
• BE/BTech/MCA/ME/MTech/MS  in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience

• Excellent proficiency in Java, Kotlin , Android SDK and OOP concepts. 

• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices
• Good understanding of Android basics, like memory management, thread management, networking etc.

• Hands-on knowledge of supporting multiple versions of Android, screen resolutions and device types 
• Effective communication and soft skills

Preferred skills:

• Experience in working on Android TV frameworks.
• Experience of developing streaming applications (OTT)
• Experience of working with Jira & Git 
• Interest and passion for AOSP architecture.
• Knowledge on Google ATV – Firmware Qualifications (GTS, CTS, VTS etc.) & Process.
• Knowledge on GOTA, firmware update and life cycles
